Jaffna is about four hundred kilometres from where kidslab.lk is based, which before online teaching would have settled the matter. It does not now: the sessions are live and joined from home, so a child in Jaffna gets the same teachers and the same twelve-week syllabus as one in Colombo, on the same days, for the same LKR 5,000.

Why online works for Jaffna families
This is the district where the online format does the most work. There is no version of this programme a Jaffna family could reasonably attend in person, so the alternative is not an inconvenient class — it is the subject being unavailable.
One thing to be clear about before you enrol: classes are conducted in English, with Sinhala used where an explanation needs it. There is no Tamil-medium cohort at present. A child comfortable following school lessons in English will be fine; if that is not yet true, the free first session is the place to find out at no cost.
